今年，比賽以聯合國永續發展目標 SDG 7「可負擔的永續能源」為核心議題，21組國中同學輪番上陣，以全英文播報自製新聞，共同關心地球的未來。
新聞焦點涵蓋台灣如何推動能源轉型，探討地熱之於菲律賓的重要性更橫跨歐亞，對比冰島與印度的再生能源政策差異，極具國際視野， 針對風力、水力、太陽能與海洋能趨勢，同學們呈現豐富的立場與觀點，就連「氫能源」的發展潛力與技術挑戰，亦受同學們關注。
葳格英文舞台的訓練，促進孩子們資訊整合與口語表達的能力，更是一次公民素養的實踐!
This year, the Top Anchor Contest focused on SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy. Twenty-one junior high school teams took turns on stage, broadcasting their own self-produced news segments entirely in English to show their care for the planet‘s future.
The news lineup offered a truly global perspective! Students explored a wide range of topics: they investigated Taiwan’s push for the energy transition, examined the vital role of geothermal energy in the Philippines, and even leaped across continents to compare renewable energy policies in Iceland and India. Their reports provided valuable insights into the future of wind, hydro, solar, and ocean energy. Hydrogen energy, with both its exciting technical potential and technical challenges, also received significant attention.
The training our students gain through this event goes beyond strengthening their presentation and research skills—it empowers them to become informed global citizens, ready to engage with real-world issues and help shape a more sustainable future.
