基於理解海洋環境對地球生命的重要，中學部開設了「潛水社」，與臺中潛立方合作，結合PADI AWARE海洋環保計畫，透過專業培訓教育，讓同學以成為合格的PADI開放水域潛水員為目標學習潛水技能，進而愛上海洋、保護海洋。

課程從111學年度10月份開始，同學們利用週六及課後時間學習理論知識、裝備組裝、平靜水域練習、面鏡排水等扎實的潛水訓練，11月中旬前往墾丁參加開放水域海洋實習，兩天內完成四支氣瓶的實際海洋潛水，測驗所學的操作技能。全體同學順利通過考試，取得OPEN WATER國際潛水證照。

第二學期的訓練中，學生掌握更多的潛水技巧，學會使用指北針在水下導航，挑戰墾丁藍洞船潛和大深度潛水，體會浮力控制的重要性。過程中葳格學子表現得非常鎮定，猶如專業潛水員，互相照顧潛伴，欣賞大海蘊藏的生態之美，感受維護自然的必要。

最後，學生們全數順利取得PADI初階及進階的開放水域潛水證照，期待這群海洋守護員們能繼續保持好奇心和熱情，持續探索更深的海洋，成為還原海洋清潔健康的生態環境小幫手！
 

WAGOR OCEAN GUARDIAN ELITE TRAINING PROGRAM

Wagor introduced a scuba diving elective course in October 2022 to foster students' appreciation for marine life and ocean conservation. Partnering with Taichung Scuba Dive Cube, the course aims to qualify students for open water PADI certification while incorporating the PADI AWARE marine conservation program. Students received training in theory and practical skills, culminating in open water dives in Kenting, earning them international open water licenses. In the second semester, students advanced to AOW certification, gaining the ability to explore the ocean's beauty and the importance of conservation. Professional dive instructors supported students in obtaining beginner and advanced open water certifications, shaping them into eco-conscious ocean guardians committed to marine ecosystem restoration.
