大家好，我是江尚謙，我來自葳格國際學校高中部。今天想和大家分享我的故事。

一開始接觸到籃球這項運動的時候大概是在我小學二年級的時候，那時候的我懵懵懂懂，只知道籃球是一項運動，努力爭奪籃球並把球投進籃框，就能獲得得分的成就感。也大概是在那個時候，我就十分嚮往成為一名職業球員，並下定決心要為此去努力。

所以我從那個時候就開始一直默默的努力去付出，因為家人和自己都希望在能從事自己的興趣之餘也能兼顧自己的課業，所以選擇一條和多數選手不同的路——就讀乙組學校。這過程的確困難重重，舉例來說，高中的時候多數選手一天訓練時間可能就是我一個禮拜的團隊訓練時間，雖然不是說練越多越有用，但是我該如何彌補這段差距甚至超越他們成了我當時的一大課題。所以我給我自己的目標就是多看比賽的影片彌補經驗，然後把自己能用的、瑣碎的時間都拿來加強自己，或許是颱風天；或許是下雨天；或許是身體很疲累的時候。每一天我都要求自己必須努力完成自己給自己的訓練清單，只有比其他選手更自律、更有毅力才有機會和其他選手競爭。

一開始對我來說，我認為最有意義的事就是成為一名職業球員，但在這追逐夢想的過程，我漸漸意識到，在築夢的過程努力付出、要求自己、從錯誤中學習、失敗後有勇氣再爬起來繼續挑戰，這些過程才是最珍貴、最有意義的。

Shang-Chien Chiang, an alumnus of Wagor International School, shares his remarkable journey of dedication and hard work, emphasizing the value of both academics and his passion for basketball. His journey began in grade 2 when he developed a strong aspiration to become a professional basketball player. While many athletes attend specialized schools, Chiang chose to attend a normal school with a Grade B basketball team to balance his dream with academics, a path laden with challenges due to the rigorous training required.

Chiang's commitment to his goal led him to train relentlessly, utilizing every available moment to improve. He watched videos of basketball competitions, persevered through challenging weather conditions, and maintained unwavering self-discipline. His dedication and perseverance allowed him to compete with players from Grade A teams. As his journey progressed, Chiang realized that the hard work, self-imposed standards, and the ability to learn from mistakes and face challenges were the most precious and meaningful aspects of his pursuit, transcending the initial goal of becoming a professional basketball player. His story serves as an inspiring testament to the value of hard work and personal growth.
