第三屆Wagor Talk主題為Intergenerational Synergies-Evolving the Future，邀請5位各領域的佼佼者，同時也是「葳」爸、「葳」媽分享專業經驗，內容涵蓋國際貿易、醫療、資訊科技、電機與生活智慧、製造業與教育等。孩子們也一同擔任講者，全程以英文表達父母的專業領域成就如何影響他們的成長、對父母的感謝等，展現家庭價值的同時，葳格親師合作之國際教育再翻新頁！
家長會陳志銓Ryan會長侃侃而談他從廣播媒體到百夫長行李箱的跨國生意經營與管理，和兒子Jeff透過高爾夫球和現場學生觀眾互動，氣氛熱烈。Ivy爸爸、沁安診所的院長潘天健，Justin是兼具西醫內科專科執照的中醫師，風趣的介紹美學療程，「三高變高三」笑果十足，最後用 Colbie Caillat 的歌曲 ”Try” 讓同學們思考什麼是真正的「美」。
提到Mainframe大型主機和超級電腦，就不得不提到CDC (Control Data Corporation)，身為前資深工程師的劉穎民Richard，May的爸爸透過回顧歷史，提供未來資訊科技產業的趨勢分析。Anya的媽媽蕭淑賢，Ellen則現場連線俄羅斯同事，透過漆彈用品、護具和輔具等產品展示向同學說明OEM Business，以及語言、未來需養成的重要技能。壓軸的Jay爸爸，溫志煜Robert，目前是中興大學電機工程學系的教授，在智慧醫療領域擁有多項發明專利，其中的背負式點滴架讓同學們大開眼界。能在一個下午欣賞到如此高質量的演講，葳格的孩子真的太幸福了！
感謝到場參與的家長會陳志銓會長、家長委員以及家長們，除了樹立葳格家長的專業楷模圖像外，家委會給予的高度肯定與鼓勵對我們更是莫大的支持。葳格學子在師長和家人的助攻下，學習與世界串連，相信今後能以堅定無比的步伐，成為改變世界的一份子。
Wagor Talk 2024 comes to a successful conclusion!
The theme of the 3rd Wagor Talk was "Intergenerational Synergies - Evolving the Future". Featuring 5 outstanding speakers from various fields, who are also "Wagor" parents. They shared their professional experiences covering international trade, healthcare, information technology, electrical engineering, life wisdom, manufacturing, and education. Children also joined as speakers, expressing in English how their parents' achievements in their respective fields have influenced their growth and gratitude towards their parents, showcasing family values while unveiling a new chapter in international education collaboration with Wagor and parents' partnership.
Ryan, the chairman of the Parent Association, shared his journey from broadcasting to managing multinational business with Centurion suitcases, alongside his son Jeff, interacting enthusiastically with the audience through golf and student engagement on site. Ivy's dad, Dr. Pan Tianjian, or Justin, the director of Qin'an Clinic, a witty combination of a Western medicine internist and a licensed traditional Chinese medicine practitioner, amusingly introduced aesthetic treatments with "Turning Three Highs into High Three", concluding with Colbie Caillat's song "Try" to prompt students to ponder what true "beauty" is.
When talking about mainframes and supercomputers, CDC Control Data Corporation cannot be overlooked. Richard, formerly a senior engineer, now the father of May, provided a trend analysis of the future information technology industry through historical review. Anya's mother, Xiao Shuxian, or Ellen, connected live with a Russian colleague, and demonstrated to students what OEM Business is, through paintball supplies, protective gear, and auxiliary products, emphasizing language and important skills for the future. Jay's father, Professor Robert Wen Zhiyu, currently teaching at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Chung Hsing University, showcased several patented inventions in the field of smart healthcare, including a backpack-style IV stand, broadening students' horizons. Wagor's children are indeed fortunate to enjoy such high-quality speeches in one afternoon.
Grateful to Ryan Chen, the chairman and the members of Parent Association, as well as all the parents who attended this event. The Parent Association has perfectly established the professional role model image of Wagor parents, and the high affirmation and encouragement from them really means a lot to us. With the support of teachers and families, Wagor students are connecting with the world, and are sure to stride confidently into the future, becoming agents of change.
