Wagor High was not just a school to me; it was a place of warmth and inclusion. From the moment I stepped through its doors, teachers, students, and staff alike embraced me, recognizing my eagerness to learn and my hunger for challenges. I'm Adam Chen, and I've come a long way since my days at Wagor. Today, I am a content creator, sports coach, and host of a self-help Podcast, and it's all thanks to the incredible foundation I built during my time at this remarkable institution.
Throughout my schooling at Wagor, I was never content with just being a student. I thrived on pushing my limits and seeking out new challenges. From swimming across the iconic Sun Moon Lake to cycling around the entire island, Wagor provided me with a diverse learning platform that allowed me to effortlessly switch between being an athlete and a diligent student. The spirit of curiosity and exploration was nurtured here, and it became an integral part of who I am today.
But it wasn't just physical challenges that intrigued me. I was also drawn to the world of language and communication. Through constant participation in English competitions, my language skills grew by leaps and bounds, and I developed a deep passion for learning English. It was here that I discovered the power of effective communication.
As my English skills continued to flourish, I ventured into new territories. I became a member of the Wagor Elite Club, where I fell head over heels in love with public speaking and storytelling. The club not only honed my pronunciation but also instilled in me the confidence to speak fluently and persuasively in English. The art of storytelling became my forte, and little did I know how instrumental it would be in shaping my future.
Upon graduating from Wagor, I embarked on a relentless pursuit of my dreams. I enrolled in a university with a robust communication program, determined to take my skills to the next level. I didn't stop at academics; I decided to give back by starting a co-working space on campus, fostering collaboration among local entrepreneurs and freelancers. It was a small endeavor, but it was my way of giving back to the community that had supported me throughout my journey.
Simultaneously, I launched my own self-help Podcast channel. This platform allowed me to share my insightful learning journey with a broader audience, touching on topics ranging from personal development to entrepreneurship. My podcast became a reflection of my growth and an inspiration to others.
Looking back on my journey from being an ESL student to becoming an entrepreneur, content creator, and speaker, I am profoundly grateful for the support and opportunities I found at Wagor High.
