I am a responsible and committed individual, who is greatly supported by my family. My character has been shaped by my parents, emphasizing hard work and commitment in academics. I dislike those who fail to keep their promises. In high school, I joined the darts club, and a lucky bullseye shot gave me immense joy and a sense of accomplishment. There, I found like-minded friends who, together, motivated me to delve deeper into my interests and future career plans in college.

I chose the Star Project for my university application because it suited my personality and abilities better than the Special Admission Program or Individual Applications. For the Star Project, I only need to meet school's standardized test score requirements, no additional interviews or portfolio reviews. I find interviews challenging and preparing application materials demanding. Thus, I opted for this project and focused on maintaining excellent academic performance.

Throughout my three years in high school, I worked diligently to keep my grades stable, which required persistent effort and unwavering determination. I constantly adjusted my study methods, sought help from teachers and classmates when needed, and faced the pressures and challenges of preparing for major exams. I allocated proper study time for each subject, regularly reviewed class content, took notes, and summarized key points. While studying, I also stroke a balance between work and rest, adjusting my mindset to maintain a good learning efficiency.

Joining the darts club was one of my most unforgettable high school experiences. Initially, I wasn't good at it, but through participation, I improved quite a bit and found it a small outlet for relieving stress and negative emotions. It also led me to meet a humorous and fun senior.

Reflecting on my high school journey, I am especially grateful to Mr. Xiao You-Qi who always patiently explained concepts in class, inspired my thinking, and clarified doubts after class. Whenever I had trouble solving a math question, he patiently explained it with vivid examples and clear logic to help me understand. Under his guidance, I not only learned mathematical knowledge but also how to grasp the underlying concepts, which greatly aided my problem-solving skills.

My advice to Wagor juniors is not to fear challenges and difficulties. Persist in your efforts and believe in your abilities. Build a habit of learning constantly and making small but gradual progress. You also need to adjust your mindset from time to time, especially when you have setbacks. Maintain an optimistic and positive attitude towards everything you encounter.
