大家好！我是張紓萍，熱愛藝術和音樂，喜歡勇於嘗試和挑戰，高中期間積極參加了各種社團、校內組織活動和競賽，從中獲得了豐富的經驗和成長。令我印象深刻的是高二時競選學生會的副會長，雖然最終高票落選，但我從中學習到團隊運作和溝通合作的重要性，極大地提升了自己。
藝術方面，我學過茶道、書法和鋼琴，並在許多繪畫比賽中獲得佳績。開始學習「古琴」是在高一的暑假，之後很幸運地認識「百禾工坊」的單志淵老師，更加確立了自己求學的目標。老師的指導滋養我對古琴的喜好，讓我學到了感官、覺知、美學和琴的音色，更深層地感受到大自然中的每塊木頭皆有獨特的生命價值！
一開始，我並未通過臺北藝術大學的特殊選才申請，但我沒有因為這樣而放棄我對古琴的熱愛，反而繼續報名獨招。準備期間，我發現古琴不受侷限，能被現今的流行文化運用，例如非常火紅的手遊《王者榮耀》的六週年紀念宣傳影片，彈奏的樂器就是古琴！這激發了我想將古琴推廣到更多領域。從特殊選才到獨招錄取，感謝幫助我的每一位老師，他們指導我完成備審資料，且建議我採用多元的資料，以呈現得更完整豐富。
我想對準備備戰的學弟妹們說，勇敢的探索追求自己的目標，不要害怕挫折而放棄。師長可以提供方向和建議，但真正的道路要自己一步一腳印，踏實地走完。最後想送給大家一段話，同時也是我的座右銘：「智」造自己「智」造。意思是「用智慧造就自己，自己造就智慧」。
Hello everyone! I am Doris. I have a passion for art and music and enjoy taking on new challenges. During high school, I actively joined various clubs, school organizations, and competitions, gaining valuable experience and personal growth. One memorable experience was running for vice president of the student council in my second year. Although I lost by a large margin, I learned the importance of teamwork and communication, which significantly improved my interpersonal skills.
In terms of the arts, I have studied tea ceremony, calligraphy, and learned how to play the piano, and I have won awards in several painting competitions. I began learning the guqin, a traditional Chinese 7-stringed musical instrument, in the summer of my freshman year in high school. Fortuitously, I met Teacher Zhi-Yuan Shan from Baihe Workshop, who helped solidify my academic goals. Through his detailed guidance, I began falling in love with guqin, and learned more about its aesthetics and unique sounds. I also realized that every piece of wood in nature has its own intrinsic value.
Although I failed to pass the Special Admission Program for Taipei National University of the Arts, I did not let this dampen my love for the guqin. Instead, I applied through the independent admission process. During my preparation, I found that the guqin is versatile and can be incorporated into contemporary pop culture. For instance, the popular mobile game "Arena of Valor" featured guqin in its sixth-anniversary promotional video. This inspired me to promote guqin across different fields. From failing the Special Admission Program to being accepted through independent admission, I am grateful to all the teachers who have assisted me. They taught me how to combine my application materials and advised me to include diverse elements to present a more comprehensive portfolio.
To my fellow students preparing for their own journeys, I encourage you to bravely pursue your goals and never give up in the face of setbacks. Teachers can provide direction and advice, but the path is yours to walk, step by step, with determination. Lastly, I want to share a motto that has guided me: "Wisdom creates oneself; oneself creates wisdom." This means "Use wisdom to shape yourself, and in turn, shape your own wisdom."
