111學年度「優學台中」學習成果博覽會全區展,在靜宜大學熱烈展開,臺中市各校學生針對學習成果進行發表。
葳格高中共計四組獲選,其中普通科二年級 劉o芳和謝o翔以「The Penguin in the North Pole, Hippo & Bunny」為主題,進行動態分享,將個人喜好的繪畫和英文結合,加上外語部的指導,最後完成了適合兒童閱讀的英文繪本,不僅獲選國立公共資訊圖書館圓夢計畫,還收錄成館藏。
其他三組分別為普通科一年級即參展的盧o宇,發表「撞球與現實世界有理數和無理數的糾葛」,以數學模型探討真實世界撞球進洞無理數與有理數的糾葛,結合物理原理與數學運算做進球的預測。
以及普通科蕭o菲「你不能不知的三高」,透過自主學習課程了解慢性病,並以自身的案例,學習控管,並加深自己未來預想從事醫護相關產業的理想。最後則是普通科黃o霖、張o傑、黃o諺共同研究軟式棒球選手的訓練動機,研究各項戰術策略的精進方式!
葳格高中鼓勵學子們展現自我,透過多元課程安排,學習探索自我資源,加深加廣地學習,積極的展現自我,成就個人學習成果!
In the 111th academic year, the "Outstanding Learning Achievements in Taichung" exhibition was enthusiastically held at Providence University, where students from various schools in Taichung City presented their learning achievements.
Wagor High School had a total of two selected groups. Among them, Mina Liu and Shawn Hsieh, second-year students from the General Education, presented their story book "The Penguin in the North Pole and Hippo & Bunny." They combined their personal interests in drawing and English , with guidance from the Foreign Language Department, they ultimately completed an English picture book suitable for children. Their work was not only selected for the National Library of Public Information Dream Project but also included in the library's collection.
The other three groups consisted of Diluc Lu, a first-year student from the General Education, who presented"The Interplay Between Pool and Rational/Irrational Numbers in the Real World." Diluc Lu explored the interplay between rational and irrational numbers in real-world billiards using mathematical models, incorporating principles of physics and mathematical calculations to predict ball movements.
In addition, Erica Xiao, also from the General Education, presented "The Top Three Illnesses You Must Know." Through self-directed learning courses , Erica Xiao gained an understanding of chronic diseases, managed her own case, and deepened her aspirations to work in the healthcare industry in the future. Lastly, Jason Huang, Jonathan Chang, and Roy Huang from the General Education conducted joint research on the training motivation of softball playersand explored ways to enhance various tactical strategies.
Wagor High School encourages students to showcase themselves. Through diverse curriculum arrangements, students explore their own resources, deepen and broaden their learning, actively express themselves, and achieve personal learning outcomes!
